Was repeatedly awarded Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction for his leadership in passing commonsense gun safety laws

Co-authored a bill to re-introduce limits on carrying concealed weapons after it was struck down by the Supreme Court

Launched an investigation into the state’s Armed and Prohibited Persons System, a program intended to keep guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous people.
