LOS ANGELES NEEDS
WHY I'M RUNNING
Los Angeles continues to confront an unprecedented homelessness crisis, and Angelenos continue to deal with rises in crime while trying to reimagine our criminal justice system so it works for everyone. Utilities skyrocket as we continue to grapple with the effects of climate change, affordable housing is increasingly a distant dream for most Angelenos and City Hall faces its biggest corruption scandal in decades.
It’s clear that our city is at a dire crossroads on so many critical issues. That’s why I’m running for Los Angeles City Council, to bring my decades of experience as a labor organizer, advocate for working families, and progressive lawmaker to bear to reimagine Los Angeles and get our city back on track.
